Requirements:BSc Degree in Biomedicine / Genetics / Other Medical Fields3 - 5 years work experience, working in a high pressure environment.Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.Knowledge of, or ability to understand, medical terminology, case-note documentation, medical history documentation.Experience of working with large database/CRM systems.Own car and valid driver's license.Strong management skills (previous experience as a line manager desirable but not essential)Willingness to become acquainted with, and understand, a very specific discipline/branch of medical science.Good IT skills, including use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).Willingness to travel on occasions for training and workshops, both nationally and internationally.Ability to work in line with POPI and with an understanding of donor and patient confidentiality.Ability to think strategically and creatively regarding long-term development plans.Ability to produce high quality written reports.Ability to analyse large sets of dataDuties / Responsibilities: (Summary of responsibilities, full job specification available after short listing)Coordinate bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cell donations, ensuring donor preparation, informed consent, and medical eligibility evaluation.Manage donor medical assessments, documentation, and communication with national and international coordinators, including scheduling transport and obtaining permits.Collaborate with hospital collection centers, specialist couriers, and finance teams to ensure adherence to global standards, timelines, and contract terms.Address quality incidents, adverse events, and complaints while contributing to policy development and process improvements.Stay updated with developments in stem cell donation and ensure compliance with all medical standards, regulations, and operating procedures.NOTE - We ONLY accept online applications.
