Document Controller & Office Administrator REMOTE Our UK Construction Project Management client is looking for a Document controller / Office administrator / Project Administrator 5 years' experience, its a remote position so you can be based anywhere.
You will assist the Project Manager & Operations Director to administrate and manage the document and information control systems.
Salary up to R 30 000 pm (depends on experience REMOTE but works in UK hours.
UK Hours 8am to 16:30pm (SA Hours would be April to October 9am to 17:30 & November to March is 10am to 18:30 – NON-NEGOTIABLE Min Requirements Matric
Qualification in Construction or Admin beneficial
4-5 years document controller experience, working in a construction site environment
Must come from a construction & building working environment as you will be working closely with the project and operations manager during construction projects
Experience in using an electronic document control system (SharePoint, Asite etc.)
or like Autodesk Construction Cloud, NetSuite, or Oracle Aconex – or similar
Very Strong knowledge of Word, Excel.
PowerPoint and Outlook
Key Responsibilities To manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the project office
Ensure that all technical project drawings and documentation notifications from the client Electronic Document Management System are checked, accurately recorded and distributed to the project team
To track, Quality Assurance check and upload technical project drawings, technical submittals, RFI's, commissioning certificates to the client Electronic Document Management System and company project file
Manage & maintain the project filing system, ensuring the company file structure is strictly adhered to, and that all information is accurate and up to date.
Tracking of construction projects
Establish and maintain trackers to deliver accurate and timely reports related to document control as requested by the project manager/engineer (e.g.
outstanding tec sub approvals, unanswered RFIs, QA Rejected, Status C documents, RAMS, plant & equipment, holidays, installation progress, commissioning, snags etc.
General administration (to a high standard), including typing, distribution, copying and filing general correspondence.
arrange couriers, order stationery, reprographics, consumables and PPE Equipment for the Project teams
Provide assistance to project team with the compilation of the client monthly project reports and Health & Safety documentation
