Document Controller – Jsdc

Seeking a skilled document controller for my Cape Town based client, this will be for an Engineering Consultancy firm.
This is a contract position to be renewed yearly.
Responsibilities/accountabilities: Be the main point of contact for finding documents or drawings within the company.Implement strict document control processes.Issuing of drawings and documents to clients and contractors.Making sure the correct and latest version or revision of documents/drawings are sent to the client or contractors.Creating folders and keeping folders up to date with the latest revision to be accessible to Engineers.Creating drawing and document registers.Storing hard copies and digital files.Creating excel spreadsheets.Organizing folders from detailed design to review and construction.Final checker of drawings before they are issued to clients.Assist clients telephonically and via email with queries.Qualifications: Grade 12 and relevant qualification.5-8 years' experience.Must have engineering industry experience.
