Document Control Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES Document Management: Responsible for creating, updating, archiving, and filing all documents and records within a project or organization, including technical specifications, contracts, reports, drawings, etc.

Document Control: Ensuring that documents adhere to specified formats, standards, and version control requirements, as well as appropriate approval processes and records.

Document Process Management: Coordinating and managing document processes, including approval, modification, distribution, and archiving, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of documents.

System Maintenance: Managing document management systems or software, ensuring their proper functioning, and providing training and support to other staff.

Communication and Coordination: Communicating with project teams and stakeholders, and coordinating document requirements, changes, and issue resolution.

INTERNAL / EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS English is the normal language.
Mandarin or Afrikaans will be preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Document Control Engineer field.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS / FEATURES Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
