Divisional Financial Director (Jacobs)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To manage and control the financial / accounting functions of the company and its related operations ensuring that departmental and strategic objects are met. To manage and control the IT function to ensure that hardware and software match company requirements.To manage and control the company purchasing function to ensure that materials areprocured timeously, to required specifications and at the most competitive price. To plan, direct, manage and develop all aspects relating to financial planning and control within the company to ensure the long-term financial viability of these investments in terms of group financial goals.To maintain financial and physical control over all company assets and liabilities inaccordance with legal requirements, group policy and generally accepted accounting practice (GAAP).To oversee the continuous improvement in the finance function and ensure a consistentapproach to all financial issues within the group.To ensure equitable employment practices and good industrial relations and to provide a healthy and safe working environment in accordance with statutory requirements and group policy and procedure in accordance with the company budget and strategic intend, so that the overall profitability of the company which operates from the manufacturing plant in Jacobs will be enhancedReport directly to the Managing DirectorREQUIREMENTS Grade 12Tertiary qualification CA (SA) (essential not negotiable)5 to 10 years experience at senior financial management level in manufacturingenvironment5 + years experience in the implementation, development and maintenanceof information systems (preferably ERP systems e.g. Syspro, etc.) 5+ years credit management experience, commodity risk hedging experienceAnalytical thinker with strong leadership & management qualities and be experiencein other business disciplines with ethical and confidentiality skills.
RUMUNERATION R1.5 To R1.7 Million Per Annum CTC (excludes performance bonus)
