The ideal District Sales Manager - Cape Town will be responsible for the following but not limited to:Team Leadership:Supervise and coach Medical Representatives, ensuring customer visits align with company targets.Conduct double visits (minimum 80% of field days) to monitor performance and provide actionable feedback.Facilitate training sessions to ensure promotional effectiveness and share best practices.Sales Management:Develop and execute sales forecasts and resource allocation strategies.Regularly monitor team performance and initiate corrective actions to meet sales objectives.Promotional Activities:Organize promotional events, seminars, and meetings to enhance product visibility and customer engagement.Ensure appropriate use of promotional materials and adherence to ethical guidelines.Business Planning and Strategy Development:Conduct market and competitor SWOT analysis to identify business opportunities.Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to align field tactics with strategic goals.Customer Relationship Management:Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmacies, distributors, and opinion leaders.Ensure the team adheres to the company's ethical codes and regulatory compliance standards.Operational Excellence:Oversee team administration, expenses, and resource utilization to ensure compliance with company policies.Monitor the distribution network in collaboration with the National Sales Manager.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal District Sales Manager - Cape Town will fit the following profile: Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Veterinary, Life Sciences, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience as a District Manager in the pharmaceutical industry.Fluent in English and holding an active driver's license.Key Competencies:Strong leadership and people management skills in the pharmaceuticals indurstry.Excellent communication, presentation, and public-speaking abilities.Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making expertise.High levels of resilience, integrity, and energy.Proficiency in project management and strategic planning.What's on OfferMarket related
