Distribution Manager

Medilogistics has an opportunity for a Distribution Manager in the George Hub. The responsibility of the Distribution Manager is to direct and oversee the daily activities relating to a specific distribution hub, area or function. Responsible for planning, coordinating and executing, in a timely manner, the daily activities of a given hub/area and implementing programs that ensure the needs of all functions within that area are met.
Description: First time tracking query complaints resolution.Execution of Pre-alerted priority parcels.Execution of the problem parcel report.Handling of collections in a timely manner.Benchmark of 1 escalated query per month.Vehicle InspectionsMonitoring of movement reportsUpdated vehicle registerCompliance of vehicle services intervals & general maintenance of vehiclesUpdated equipment registerManagement of attendance & time keeping of staffManagement of absenteeism & leave managementStaff performance managementIR knowledge and implementationTeambuilding initiativesKnowledge of HR processesGeneral Housekeeping of offices/facility/scanning stationsAdherence to Travel Policy & Optimum Cost SavingMinimum Requirements: Grade 12National Diploma (3yrs) or Higher in Logistics / Distribution / Freight / Courier or Supply Chain Management.Computer Literacy in Microsoft Packages6 months to 1 year relevant/related experience2 or more years junior managerial experience, coupled with a strategic outlook and focus.2 or more years administrative experience
