Job Description
The Distribution Manager position encompasses the efficient and prompt delivery of all customer orders, exports, and branch replenishments. Responsibilities include:
Ensuring vehicle maintenance is up to date and all vehicles are roadworthy with the required licenses and permits.
Compliance with traffic regulations and hazardous goods requirements.
Management of all third-party transporters.
Control of transport costs and fuel management.
Full vehicle and driver management using the c-track system.
Ensuring competencies required are achieved by all staff and keeping the administration of the department up to date.
