Our client, a leading manufacturer of irrigation solutions and components, is seeking a motivated and hands-on Distribution and Logistics Supervisor. This role is ideal for a self-starter with experience in factory or manufacturing plant environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing distribution and logistics operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, state-of-the-art products that support efficient water management and sustainable agriculture practices.Key Responsibilities:• Co-manage a team of 25 individuals, fostering effective communication and strong cross-departmental relationships.• Assist in the development and scheduling of logistics strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.• Supervise stock control, ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management.• Maintain a customer-centric approach, promptly addressing any concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction.• Work some weekends as required to meet operational demands.Requirements:• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a factory or manufacturing plant environment.• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels, from general workers to senior management.• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferable.• Residency in the Northern Suburbs is preferred.• General knowledge of IT/ERP systems, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Excel.• A proactive approach and the ability to add value to the distribution operation.Qualifications:• Matric with further studies in a related field is preferable.Benefits:• Competitive salary and benefits package.• Opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.• Career growth and development opportunities.If you are a proactive and dedicated individual with the required experience and skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
