Job Title: Dispatch / Receiving ClerkNumber of positions: 2Location: MobeniIndustry: Business Manufacturing & SupplyEmployment Type: 3 month Fixed term contractSalary: R10 000 pmShifts: Rotational 12 hour shift- Night shift onlyIntroductionThe client is a prominent company based in Durban, South Africa. They specialize in the packing and distribution of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) throughout Africa.ResponsibilitiesReceiving Shipments: Verify and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition. Unload trucks and ensure items are stored correctly.Dispatching Orders: Prepare and dispatch orders accurately and on time. Coordinate with delivery personnel and ensure proper documentation.Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels. Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.Documentation: Ensure all shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and filed appropriately.Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and report any issues. Ensure that all products meet quality standards before dispatch.Communication: Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to resolve any issues related to shipments.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.QualificationsMust have Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF level 4 equivalent qualification.Must have clear criminal record.2 - 3 years' experience in dispatching and receiving of stock.Admin experience required.Excel required.How To ApplyPlease submit a Word or PDF version of your CV, scanned PDFs will not be accepted.
