Dispatch Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Dispatch Manager to oversee our distribution and transportation operations in Montague Gardens. In this role, you'll manage a team of 25-30 staff, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
QualificationsGrade 12 or equivalent.Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment.Computer literate with strong mathematical skills.Fluent in Afrikaans and English.Code 8 driving license and own transport.Ability to work flexible hours and handle operational challenges effectively.ResponsibilitiesPlan, manage, and evaluate all logistics operations.Supervise and motivate staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.Oversee dispatch, including route planning, vehicle loading, and staff coordination.Manage receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and quality control.Enforce food safety, quality, and health & safety procedures.Monitor fleet maintenance, vehicle inspections, and documentation.Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area, ensuring effective housekeeping practices.Application ProcessIf you meet the qualifications and skills outlined above and are interested in applying for this position, please submit your detailed CV with a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications, and valid driver's license to ******.
