Key Performance Output The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Manager Consequence Management and will be responsible but not limited to the following: Facilitate forensic and internal and external audit report recommendations. Oversee disciplinary steps from initiation to the outcome stage of the hearing (disciplinary management life cycle). Facilitating of disputes arising from internal disciplinary cases serving at external tribunals and representing Company at external tribunals such as CCMA, Labour Court. Facilitate civil and criminal action flowing from internal disciplinary steps, forensic reports, internal & external audit reports. Implementing consequence management strategy through effective and efficient discipline management Remain up to date with macro and micro-economic conditions and legislation and industry best practice. Input into budget for labor litigation, external chairpersons, CCMA fees. Ensure compliance with consequence management procedures. Implement approved consequence management, employee relations policy and employee relations management procedures which are current and aligned to legislative requirements and the overall business strategy. Identify and report risks, ensuring compliance with procedures and applicable policies. Provide required discipline management - related reports to both internal and external stakeholders. Compile timely and accurate discipline management reports in accordance with business and management requirements. Provide specialized technical / professional advisory service to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organizational objectives. Facilitate and monitor implementation of discipline management and other required interventions. Oversee and coordinate new and existing criminal investigations. Evaluate and complete investigations into all reported allegations of fraud, corruption & crime affecting the business and liaise accordingly with other agencies such as the Police, to ensure all necessary and lawful requirements are met.
Technical Skills and Experience The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: Relevant bachelor's degree NQF 7 (3 years - 360 credits) in HR/Law/Risk is essential. Diploma (NQF 6) in Forensic Investigation/Policing/Law is recommended. 8 years operational experience in Investigations/Risk/Compliance/Discipline Management is essential. 3-5 years stakeholder management experience is recommended. MS Office proficiency at advanced level Code B Motor vehicle license
