An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a Director of Strategic Partnerships to lead the Western Cape region of an advisory-driven financial services company.
As the Director of Strategic Partnerships in this forward-thinking, modern, and entrepreneurial company, your role will encompass more than just managing operations.

Key qualifications and experience required for the Director of Strategic Partnerships: Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (i.e., finance, accounting or business science)A minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services sectorFully qualified CFA/CFP is advantageousDemonstrated success in managing distribution channels within a financial services companyPrevious experience as a Regional Business Head with oversight of financial advisors is highly preferredStrong financial management skillsIn-depth knowledge of FAISA and a solid understanding of financial marketsExtensive experience and a thorough understanding of the financial services advisory landscape in the Western CapeProficiency in technology and digital enablement toolsKey duties of the Director of Strategic Partnerships: Execute the broader strategy of the business in the Western Cape regionManage all regional office operations including cost management and profitability focusOversee staff development, coaching, and trainingEnsure efficient practice operation through training and accreditationProactively acquire quality advisor practices with emphasis on IFA marketsPromote adoption of best advice practices by advisors focusing on client experience outcomesImplement best practice processes in line with proprietary practice management frameworksDevelop the company's brand through regional marketing and activation eventsKey personal skills: Possesses a strong entrepreneurial mindset with innovative thinkingSkilled at identifying opportunities for growth and innovationPerformance-driven and excels in an owner-managed business environmentAbility to demonstrate empathy as a key soft skill, allowing you to connect effectively with people at all levelsIf you are a determined and strong-willed finance professional seeking to join a thriving business in a diverse and impactful role, we encourage you to get in touch for a discussion about this position.
