The experienced qualified (CA) Finance Executive with 15+ years' experience will be responsible for overseeing the Finance areas of the business to ensure these functions are running at an optimum resulting in operational excellence.
This role will report directly to the COO and form part of the executive team.
The individual must be an active registered SAICA member and have a strong business acumen and an operational mindset.
Strategic thinking with a keen focus on key performance indicators.
Prior experience working in a local manufacturing environment is key for this role with a solid understanding of SKUs and raw materials.
A proven track record of developing and executing financial strategies that drive profitability and sustainable growth is essential.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a medium-sized team are key.
The position is based full-time in Atlantis.
This is an office-based position, Monday – Friday.
Should the person not be residing in Western Cape, the company will offer relocation assistance.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the financial management and strategic direction of the company.
Adept at optimizing cost structures, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with financial commitments and forecasts.
Highly skilled in CRM implementation & utilization.
Building and implementation of forecast plans, business strategy, and Opex control.
Assess company performance in relation to annual budget and strategy.
Prepare financial models to evaluate financial viability and conduct necessary due diligence to inform decision-making.
Involvement with contract negotiations and SLAs.
Identifying and assessing business risk within the portfolio and ensuring the implementation of necessary controls in mitigation.
Oversee the finance department for the company, driving high performance within the Finance function with a focus on teamwork and accountability to exceed financial targets and positively contribute to working capital efficiency.
Minimum Requirements: Qualified CA and registered SAICA member.
BCom Honours and/or relevant qualifications.
MBA – would be advantageous.
15+ years of Finance experience, of which 8 have been at a senior level.
Ideal industry experience: Manufacturing.
All other industries will be considered.
PC Literate: MS Office: Excel Advanced / Syspro / CRMs / Clickview.
Strong business acumen and industry expertise.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
Commercial-minded with a track record of delivering improvements and managing third-party/vendor performance.
Budget and financial planning experience.
Salary package range on offer is circa R2m - R2.4m CTC, including comprehensive company benefits.
