Your role, as Director, Digital Marketing will be to lead Dye & Durham's global digital marketing strategy, driving new customer acquisition and improved client retention initiatives through digital marketing capabilities. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, technology, and analytics, combined with a passion for building and deploying innovative digital programs that deliver measurable business results. You will build and manage a global team and work cross-functionally to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities Digital Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with the company's business objectives. Build and optimize inbound and outbound digital capabilities, including content marketing, email marketing, SEO/SEM, organic and paid social media, and digital advertising Innovate and experiment with emerging platforms and digital tools to stay ahead of industry trends. Demand Generation & Lead Nurturing: Build and manage robust demand generation programs that deliver high-quality leads to the sales team. Develop lead nurturing programs that move leads effectively through the sales funnel. Optimize digital marketing funnels to improve conversion rates and customer acquisition. Content & Campaign Management: Oversee the creation and curation of digital content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, videos, and social media. Design and implement multi-channel digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and lead generation. Collaborate with the product marketing team to ensure content is aligned with product positioning and messaging. Analytics & Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance, using data to optimize strategies and deliver ROI. Provide insights and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), campaign performance, and customer behavior to senior leadership.Leverage marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) to track engagement and nurture prospects through the sales funnel. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of digital marketing professionals. Foster a culture of creativity, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. Ensure the team collaborates effectively with other marketing and sales functions. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement: Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with the customer journey and sales goals. Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure that digital marketing supports product launches and key initiatives. Partner with external agencies and vendors to execute high-quality digital marketing programs.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
We know you will have a wide variety of skills and experience, but to thrive in this role we think you will need; Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business, Technology) with a passion for digital technologies and digital marketing. 10-15 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the legal technology or SaaS industry. Proven experience managing global digital marketing strategies and cross-functional teams. Experience building and managing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns targeting SMB-sized business customers in multiple global markets is highly desirable Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, SEMRush, etc.). Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, content marketing, and social media strategies. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously. Analytical mindset with a passion for using data to drive decisions and measure success. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a global team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating across departments and with senior leadership.
