Direct Travel Specialist

Candidate Requirements:Must have at least 5 years of reservations experience, preferably in a tour operating environmentMust have good knowledge of travel destinations (Such as Tanzania, Kenya, Zanzibar, Zambia, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Seychelles)Should have an understanding of FIT and Groups policies and proceduresMust have strong communication skills and command of the English languageFamiliarity with Tourplan reservations system (advantageous)Must have strong time and desk management skillsComputer aptitudeMust have strong attention to detail and ability to elaborate on descriptionsMust be exceptionally customer-focused with creativity, flexibility, high energy, and patienceKey Outputs:Calm and professional interaction with both suppliers and travel planners, telephonically & via emailCreative and out-of-the-box planning and designing of itinerariesHandling reservation requests either by email or telephoneProcessing of reservations from quote to finalising, including reservations, invoicing and travel documentsProfessional servicing of our dynamic direct guestsProactive selling of our products and services ensuring the best possible safari for the guestThis is a live-out position.
