Our client, a leading payments service provider of secure payment solutions, is looking for a Direct Sales Representative to join their growing team. The main purpose of the role is to take responsibility for step growth in transaction volumes through servicing product specific opportunities effectively, and through the onboarding of new potential billers. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and proactive individual who takes initiative and sees tasks through to completion. The incumbent is disciplined, persistent and has a reputation of excellent sales and relationship management skills. Responsibilities include: Grow transaction volumes by servicing existing billers Source and onboard new billers Establish a trusted advisor relationship with key biller stakeholders Explore innovative new solutions and collaborate across the business to grow Act as the key interface between billers / prospects and departments Maintain marketing presence in conjunction with the internal team Liaise internally to ensure operations pertaining to billers run smoothly Track and report key business opportunities, sales analysis and forecasts, solutions and query management. Essential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience: Relevant tertiary qualification preferable; 2 - 5 years experience in the sales / payments / financial industry, with referenceable sales and relationship management experience; Experience in outbound sales; Understanding of payments environment would be highly beneficial; Driver's license, and the ability to travel; Fluent in English and a good understanding of Afrikaans.
