Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy Digital Technical Support and Field Sales Trainer to join our team in Somerset West.
This role combines office-based technical support with occasional travel to customers, providing installation, training, and troubleshooting services for digital dental solutions, including intraoral scanners and CoDiagnostiX software.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent customer service skills, and a strong desire to help our customers seamlessly integrate digital workflows into their practices.
Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide first-line technical assistance to customers and internal teams, addressing issues related to intraoral scanners, digital workflows, and CoDiagnostiX software.Installation & Setup: Ensure seamless installation and configuration of hardware and software for new and existing customers.Training & Education: Deliver engaging training sessions for customers and internal teams on digital solutions, emphasizing their practical applications.Field Support: Occasionally travel to customer sites to provide hands-on support, troubleshooting, and training.Product Expertise: Stay up-to-date on Straumann Group's product portfolio, including CoDiagnostiX, and ensure customers are fully informed of the latest innovations.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical support activities, training sessions, and customer interactions.Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to support customer adoption and satisfaction.Qualifications: Education:A+ or N+ certification (or equivalent IT qualification).Experience:2–4 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking.Experience with CAD/CAM systems, dental software, or CoDiagnostiX is an advantage.Skills:Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.Organizational and time-management skills.Other:Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).Willingness to travel regionally for customer support and training.Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.What We Offer: Comprehensive training and opportunities for professional development.A collaborative and innovative work environment.Competitive salary and benefits package.The chance to make an impact in the growing field of digital dentistry.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
