Job Summary: The Digital Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement processes through digital platforms. This role involves overseeing the procurement lifecycle, implementing digital procurement tools, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and driving cost-effective purchasing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital procurement systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities: Digital Procurement Management:Manage end-to-end digital procurement processes, from requisition to purchase order and invoice processing.Implement and maintain digital procurement tools and platforms.Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the procurement system.Identify and evaluate potential suppliers using digital tools.Maintain and update the supplier database.Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.Cost Optimization:Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms.Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.Maintain accurate records of procurement activities for audit purposes.Quotation Management:Request, review, and compare quotes from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.Order and check quotes to ensure they meet the required specifications and terms.Coordinate with suppliers to clarify and finalize quotes as needed.Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.Provide training and support to team members on digital procurement tools and processes.Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve procurement-related issues.
