The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and report to the Healthcare Services Executive.The purpose of the role will be to identify new digital initiatives to deliver increased sales, analyze new commercial opportunities within digital healthcare brought by potential partners to determine financial feasibility, and report on current initiatives to ensure delivery of commercial objectives. The role will also focus on negotiating and contracting with selected partners to maximize opportunities and minimize risk for the business.Key Responsibilities:Screening and identifying new opportunities to expand digital healthcare services to increase customer retention while creating new pockets of revenue.Commercial analysis of newly identified opportunities and creation of business case assumptions to determine potential business benefit.Responsible for the financial monitoring of digital healthcare initiatives to ensure adherence to budgets and reporting of any discrepancies to manager.Identifying, exploring, and contracting with new external partners to minimize business risk and ensure clear outlines of commercial accountability.Commercializing current and future initiatives to maximize income and minimize cost.Analyze data and create reports to measure business benefit and growth.Manage the commercial relationship with digital healthcare partners.Keep abreast of industry changes and trends that may inform new initiatives or impact current initiatives.Qualifications and Experience:4-5 years of experience in the healthcare industry and related regulations/acts.Knowledge of healthcare products and services.Commercial acumen.Experience in contracting and negotiating.Healthcare Services (Desirable).Knowledge of medical schemes/healthcare funding (Desirable).Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge:Commercial thinking.Entrepreneurial skills (identifying commercial opportunities).Problem solving.Presenting information.Aptitude for technology (Desirable).Adapting and responding to change.Creating and innovation.Deciding and initiating action.Delivering results & meeting customer expectations.Planning and organizing.Working with people.Following instructions and procedures.Analysing.Applying expertise and technology.Persuading and influencing.
