SalaryR45 000 - R55 000How you'll roleAs the Digital Media Strategist, you will assist the Company to exceed revenue and profit objectives by strategising, planning, account/project managing, co-optimising, and reporting on the digital media campaigns across a portfolio of clients in order to fulfil the client's digital media objectives. Negotiations and proposal sourcingLiaise and coordinate input from the contributing internal (relevant) team membersDetailed media planning (Support):Briefing to Campaign ManagersSupport to Campaign Managers to develop detailed media planManagementEnsuring account and project management for implementation and ongoing maintenance of campaigns.Project manage input from the contributing internal (relevant) team members as relates to:Client setup within the Company financial and project systemsChannels: Project manage campaign implementation (setup and configuration) with 3rd party channel/platform/suppliers against defined campaign parametersMedia productionBudget: Schedule adjustments and invoicingManage channel/platform/publisher deliverables as relates to campaign management and optimisationManage 3rd party supplier deliverables as relates to campaign management and optimisationProject manage and/or implement tracking and measurement:Sizmek campaign tag setups and on-platform tag implementationSocial media campaign tag setups and on-platform tag implementationTeam members that implement campaign tag setups and on-platform tag implementation3rd party campaign tag setups and on-platform tag implementationProject manage and/or facilitate client platform setup – purely as relates to media campaign requirements:Landing page productionGoogle Analytics configurationSupport Campaign Managers in testing campaign implementationsReporting: Set up client reporting document/sManage campaign finances (in collaboration with Finance Manager):Manage the overall campaign budget (Coordinate with Financial Controller)Ensure invoices are issued on time (Coordinate with Financial Controller)Ensure payments are received on time (Coordinate with Financial Controller)Ensure budgets are not overrunBudget reconsAccount manage clientEnsure effective communication between the client and the CompanyAttend client meetingsCreate client presentations as part of the pitching processProactively look for opportunities to upsell additional servicesEnsure that all client contracts are in place, client finances are correctEnsure that all customer details and other information are up-to-date and accurate at all timesOptimisationOptimisation oversight in Display, Social Media and PPC (using 3rd party or innate tools) Channels:Close collaboration with Campaign managers (the primary campaign optimisers)Analysis of campaign performance with recommendations for improvementOptimisation decisions to ensure KPI's are achievedProactively recommend opportunities/inconsistencies/issues with each campaignCampaign troubleshootingStrategising new campaign opportunities based on analysis, and as relates to the defined campaign parameters (target market, targeting, etc.)ReportingCampaign reporting:Weekly/monthly report compilation - Source and aggregate data from the various internal and external channels/platforms/publishers/suppliersWeekly/monthly report interpretation with recommendations for improvementPresentation of reports to the management team and/or clientBudget/time/resource recon:Monthly budget reconMonthly resource and time recon against budgetTo know more about the role or to apply visit Crayon HERE
