Ignite Visibility, a fast-growing award-winning digital marketing company based in San Diego, is looking for a talented international Freelance Project Manager to join our team for a full-time temporary, 12-16 project. The Project Manager is a client-facing role that oversees the entire life of digital projects across various marketing channels from the inception stage to the launch of the completion of the project for franchise clients. They collaborate with external stakeholders, internal team members, and vendors on the scope of the projects; lead teams in the development of marketing projects and prepare project status reports. This person will enjoy rapidly changing environments and be able to stay abreast of shifting schedules, changing expectations, and the management of resources.Responsibilities:Be a strategic partner to our clientsProvide positive client experiences through strong customer service skillsServe as the day-to-day point of contact for all web projectsAssist in the initial onboarding of new client web projectsManage client expectations and strategies from inception to deliverySet and prepare the budget, tools, scope, and timeline for web projectsEnsure project profitability and efficiencies while utilizing agency resourcesCollaborate with internal departments to ensure the delivery of timely quality workCreate deadlines and action items for every project team memberOversee code development and testingManage project launch activitiesLead daily or weekly project team meetings to review progressCommunicate regular project status updates for the external stakeholdersResponsible for obtaining client approvals for all new estimates and change ordersAddress bottlenecks and adjust the timeline and deliverablesWork with team members individually to resolve any issuesReview, analyze, and evaluate current operational processes and performance regarding web projects, recommending solutions for improvement when necessaryBuild and maintain relationships with all department heads, account management team, external partners, and vendors to assist in making decisions regarding web project activitiesSchedule and participate in a weekly update meeting with the Director of Operations to discuss priorities, accomplishments, and hurdlesUse all of the company's business management and communication platforms to keep stakeholders informed, tasks assigned and projects well managed in accordance with deadlinesAbility to communicate rapidly and effectively with all parties involved in the projectsPerform ongoing professional development to keep pace with changes and trends within the digital marketing industryStay on top of industry trends in order to stay on the cutting edgeAssist sales team with presentations and proposal developmentPerform other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:Minimum 4 years of experience as a client-facing project manager in an agency or creative services environmentMinimum 4 years of experience managing end-to-end marketing projects redesign and development projects from discovery to launchAbility to manage cross-disciplinary teams from strategy, design, content, and development phasesKnowledge of project management frameworksDemonstrated experience managing and leading multiple concurrent projects across SEO, Paid Media, Email, CRO, social media, and moreWell-developed English communication skills with a focus on clear, intentional, friendly written and verbal communicationAbility to forecast, benchmark, and analyze project budgets both from an hour-based as well as costs/profits approachDemonstrated skills and ability in project management and planning, project risk management, resource management, budget management, and team coordinationHands-on experience with project management software such as Monday, Asana, or similarCommunicates effectively and is comfortable leading internal and external meetingsDemonstrates excellent time-management, organization, and problem-solving skillsStrategic and critical thinking skills, including exercising professional judgment
