We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts in the investments industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns and channels that promote our company and its offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of the investment sector, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in digital marketing. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Marketing.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.Manage and optimise all digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and PPC campaigns.Provide thought leadership relating to digital marketing and digital / online platforms, including mainstream social media platforms and emerging digital platforms.Create and oversee engaging and relevant content across all digital platforms to attract and retain customers.Oversee the brand's website to ensure it serves the needs of both internal and external stakeholders and positions the brand appropriately.Analyse and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, ORM tools and other relevant platforms.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the investments industry.Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing strategies with business goals and drive revenue growth.Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.Manage the digital marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximise ROI.Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing campaigns and projects as needed.Ensure all digital marketing efforts comply with industry regulations and standards.Required to translate legislative requirements into implementable website projects; and manage all website-related legislative requirements.Develop and implement strategies for personalised marketing campaigns, targeting specific investor segments (e.g., retail investors, high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients) to drive customer engagement and retention.Recommend new tools, platforms, or strategies to improve overall digital marketing effectiveness.Attributes, Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the investments or financial services industry.Proven experience managing successful and cohesive digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Hootsuite, etc.Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems.Advanced knowledge of web, social and paid media analytics and reporting.Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other relevant digital marketing certifications.Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.Proficiency in content management systems (preferably Umbraco).Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.The ability to brief, assess and offer direction on visual and creative elements required by campaigns.Contract typePermanentLocationCape TownPublished Date2024-09-13Application Deadline2024-09-30
