JOB PURPOSEThe Digital Marketing Lead is crucial in driving digital marketing for Hyperclear Tech companies. This position is responsible for leading and executing digital marketing efforts across various online platforms to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and support overall business goals. The role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, coupled with strong analytical and creative skills to optimise campaign performance and deliver measurable results.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDigital Marketing Strategy and ExecutionDevelop, implement, and manage comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with Hyperclear Tech companies' business objectives and brand visions.Oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email marketing, social media, search engine marketing (SEM/PPC), and display advertising.Lead the development of SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.Collaborate with the content creation team to optimise all digital content for SEO and user engagement.Manage and optimise the companies' web presence, ensuring seamless user experience (UX) and interface design (UI) across all digital platforms.Website Strategy, Management, and Maintenance:Develop and execute a comprehensive website strategy that supports the overall marketing goals of Hyperclear Technologies and its associated brands.Oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and optimisation of all websites within the brand portfolio, ensuring they are up-to-date, secure, and functioning efficiently.Regularly update website content, including blogs, landing pages, and product/service pages, to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current marketing campaigns.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure efficient execution of website updates, redesigns, and technical support projects.Technical SEO Management:Conduct regular technical audits of the companies' websites to identify and resolve issues such as crawl errors, broken links, duplicate content, and page load speed.Ensure the implementation of SEO best practices in website architecture, URL structure, and web content, where necessary collaborating with internal/external stakeholders and/or suppliers.Stay up-to-date with algorithm updates and SEO trends, adjusting strategies to maintain or improve search engine rankings.On-Page and Off-Page SEO Optimization:Optimise on-page elements, including meta titles, descriptions, header tags, and image alt texts to improve search engine visibility.Develop and implement an internal linking strategy to enhance website structure and user navigation.Lead the creation and execution of off-page SEO strategies, including backlink acquisition and outreach to increase domain authority.SEO Content Strategy:Work closely with the content team to develop SEO-friendly content optimised for targeted keywords and search intent.Guide the creation of blog posts, articles, and landing pages that are engaging for users and optimised for search engines.Perform keyword research to identify content opportunities and gaps, ensuring content aligns with SEO objectives.Web Design and User Experience (UI/UX):Lead efforts to continuously improve the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and optimised for conversion.Conduct regular usability testing and analyse user feedback to identify opportunities for enhancing website design and functionality.Work closely with the internal/external stakeholders/team members/suppliers to develop and implement cohesive and branded visual elements across all websites.Data Analysis and Performance Optimisation:Analyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for all digital marketing campaigns, using insights to drive continuous improvement and maximise ROI.Conduct regular audits of digital marketing activities to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency.Utilise web analytics tools to monitor traffic, engagement, and conversion rates and make data-driven decisions to enhance campaign performance.Provide actionable insights to the marketing team and senior management, guiding strategic decision-making.Social Media Management:Develop and implement social media strategies that enhance brand visibility and engagement across all relevant platforms.Oversee the creation and scheduling of social media content, ensuring consistency with each company's brand voice and messaging.Monitor social media trends and emerging platforms, adjusting strategies to maintain relevance and competitiveness.Engage with followers and influencers, building strong online communities that support brand advocacy.Leadership and Collaboration:Serve as a digital marketing expert within the marketing team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.Collaborate closely with the Group Marketing Manager, Marketing Execution Lead, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment across all marketing activities.Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and executing integrated digital campaigns, ensuring cohesive and impactful messaging.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing innovative approaches to digital marketing.Quality Assurance and Compliance:Conduct regular quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure websites are free of errors, broken links, and outdated content.Ensure all websites comply with industry standards, legal requirements, and accessibility guidelines, including POPIA, GDPR, and WCAG.Maintain documentation of website processes, procedures, and updates to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing within the team.KEY REQUIREMENTS
Education:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Additional relevant digital marketing certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, technical SEO, writing for SEO, etc.).
Experience:Minimum of 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of managing successful digital campaigns Proven track record of managing successful SEO campaigns that have led to significant improvements in organic traffic, keyword rankings, and overall search engine visibility. Extensive SEO, SEM/PPC, email marketing, and social media management experience. Experience with technical SEO, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and schema markup knowledge. Experience in link-building strategies, including outreach, guest posting, and content partnerships. Demonstrated experience in UI/UX design and web development is a plus. Previous B2B experience, preferably in the technology industry. Experience in mentoring and leading junior marketing professionals. A good understanding of the technology industry. SKILLS:Strategic ThinkingAnalytical SkillsCreativityProject ManagementCollaborationTechnical Proficiency:Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, and others for keyword research, backlink analysis, and technical audits.Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and experience optimising websites built on platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, etc.Ability to analyse and interpret data from Google Analytics, using insights to inform SEO strategies and report on SEO performance.
