Outsourced CFO is looking for a Digital Marketing & Events Manager to strategically oversee our digital marketing efforts, including brand development, communication, team management, and adapting strategies to meet organizational goals and growth stages while maximizing ROI.Job responsibilities will include, among other:Digital Marketing & Social Media:Manage all digital marketing channels (e.g., website, blogs, emails, and social media) to ensure brand consistency.Develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns that promote the products and services of the company.Prepare and manage consultant performance of ads aligned with strategy.Monthly reporting on performance, striving for maximum marketing ROI.Monthly social media content calendar creation and management.Prepare and manage consultants for copy and designs.Schedule and execute content plans.Grow OCFO social media audience and brand awareness.Conduct PPC campaigns across all platforms to drive targeted traffic and conversions.SEO & Content Management:Build out the website, keywords, content, sub-landing pages, backlinks, and domain authority.Schedule and add photos to the website, and keep it updated.Support SEO strategy by seeking relevant topics and keywords, preparing content pieces, and approving articles.Increase ranking keywords and backlinks to enhance organic traffic, domain authority, and inbound lead volume.Maintain and build Google My Business accounts for OCFO in SA and the US.Build and support other group sites like Founders Foundation and Founders Events.Events:Event Planning and Execution.Develop an annual event plan and maintain the event website.Set up and maintain event tools like Quicket, Eventable, and Mailchimp.Coordinate ad hoc events and social media campaigns to support events.Communication:Public Relations, Newsletter, and Partnerships.Welcome new clients by contacting them and arranging gift deliveries.Welcome new team members with gifts.Weekly report to the board.Provide HR and recruitment support.Build, manage, and grow a community of OCFO partner organizations that contribute to our brand, market awareness, and lead generation.Manage all market communication about these partnerships, as well as communication with partners.Manage and build out OCFO Public Relations and PR opportunities.Team Contribution:Participate in leadership meetings.Collaborate with department leaders to design and review organizational and divisional quarterly priorities and goals.Work with leadership development consultants through initiatives like Evolve to improve leadership capacity.Prepare and participate in HOD and Level 10 meetings.Brand Consistency:Create, maintain, and improve the Marketing handbook, internal & external documents.Set OCFO annual marketing strategy and align with the Board.Video Production:Create video scripts, reach out to clients, partners, and team members, and set dates.Coordinate with the video team for prep and filming.Distribute videos on social media, maximizing reach and value of each video asset.Edit event videos, cut recordings, and upload them to social media.Strategy & Budget:Develop and execute marketing strategies (SA and US), communication, digital, content, and events.Conduct internal audits and measure according to KPIs.Conduct market research to support company goals.Provide divisional marketing support for client-facing divisions.Prepare, manage, and report on the marketing divisional budget.Branding and Merchandise:Oversee the planning, buying, and distribution of office merchandise.Oversee the planning and sending of baby grows and medicine bags for team and client family expansion.Plan, buy, and deliver year-end gifts to clients and partners.The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 7 years of experience and hold a Marketing Honours degree (a Master of Arts degree would be beneficial).Characteristics of the ideal candidate:Ambition & IndependenceLeadership & Problem SolvingSocial Confidence & FlexibilityOptimism & Stress ToleranceAttention to DetailSkills and abilities of the ideal candidate:Strategic Marketing Planning and ExecutionDigital Marketing and SEOSocial Media ManagementContent Creation and ManagementPPC Campaign ManagementEvent Management and CoordinationTeam Leadership and CollaborationOur OCFO values:Family firstIntegrity mattersSwitched on ThinkingExcellence in everythingGrowth and successHead Office: Cape Town City Centre, Western Cape (Hybrid)
