Job Description

Our client in the advertising and marketing industry is looking for a Digital Designer who knows how to craft beautifully. Working alongside a Conceptual Team, the successful candidate should be able to take the initial mock-up of an idea and turn it into something inspiring, fresh and spectacular. They would then be able to bring this thinking to life across multiple channels according to best practices and within the set brand world. The Designer would have skills in presentation building to sell their thinking (including rationale and articulation), as well as the ability to prep their final artwork for development or animation.
What you will do:
Develop a look and feel inspired by a Brand Identity.
Polish and prepare final approved designs (fit for platform).
Rollout an approved design across different platforms (including email).
Collaborate with Developers to ensure proper implementation of UI designs.
Assist in creating and optimising graphics, icons, illustrations and other visual elements.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices.
Support the production of design assets and deliverables, ensuring they are consistent, pixel-perfect and meet project requirements.
Assist in creating and maintaining design documentation, including design specifications, guidelines and design rationale.
Collaborate with other team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering creativity, collaboration and continuous learning.
Seek feedback and actively participate in design critiques and reviews to improve design skills and grow professionally.
Maintain a strong attention to detail and ensure designs are accessible, user-friendly and compliant with industry standards and guidelines.
Adapt designs based on feedback, user testing results and project constraints, while balancing usability, aesthetics and technical feasibility.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design or a related field.
Adobe CC (with a focus on Photoshop).
Figma (mandatory).
Adobe XD (advantageous).
After Effects/Editing/Animation (advantageous).
Technical know-how, a DIY attitude, high EQ, a sense of nurturing and good communication skills.
Financial industry experience (advantageous).
