Introduction
The purpose of the position is to lead, manage, coordinate and facilitate the delivery of business value, through the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and close out of IT related projects and services, on behalf of the Company and/or its clients, in alignment with industry best practice, client methodology requirements, and the Company's commitment to Delivery Excellence. We are looking for somebody who is a delivery leader and able to use exposure to various methodologies and industries to think strategically and ensure value add to customers whilst creating, supporting and managing high performing teams. The role requires awareness of People, Process and Technology. The ability to make informed decisions and lead projects from idea inception all the way through to activation and launch.
Education: MatricQualification in Project delivery frameworks and methodologies: PRINCE2, PMBOK, AgileDegree or Diploma in Business Management, Computer Science, Business Science or Engineering would be advantageousExperience and Skills: 5 to 10 years' working in delivering IT related projects, preferably managing IT, Process, Business, Organisational change or HR-related projects3 or more years' experience managing multiple teams across multiple projectsExperience in Software Engineering or delivering on Software Solutions to customersExposure to Agile, alternative delivery methodologies, scaling frameworks, and PMO structures and functionsExposure to Business and Process Analysis, Change management, system integrationMS OfficeProduct ownership experience will be advantageousExperience/Exposure to Customer Experience Management or User Experience Management Key Responsibilities and/or output areas include, but are not limited to: Project Initiation: Identify key stakeholdersConsult broadly with clients (executives and delivery teams) and other stakeholdersIdentify and understand project needs and business valueIdentify and provide input in the form of a technology design, user/customer experience and guidance from business value perspectiveDevelop a Project CharterAnalyse and develop business casesProject Planning: Facilitate the collection, documentation and analysis of requirementsDocument understanding of scope, complexity and dependenciesCreate WBS or product backlogDevelop Project Management Plan or relevant management and delivery approachDefine and sequence activities, or user storiesEstimate activity resources and durationDevelop schedules, flight plans and activity trackersEstimate and track costs and determine budgetIdentify and manage risks, issues and impedimentsManage qualityPlan and map out all communicationsPlan for procurement, resourcing, infrastructure and change management requirementsProject Execution Management: Design and Implement delivery approachDirect and manage general project executionCoordinate and oversee Change Management tasksAdopt and ensure correct Software engineering principles are adhered toPerform QA activitiesAcquire, develop and manage project teamDistribute informationManage the delivery teamManage stakeholder expectationsConduct procurement as and when requiredProject Monitoring and Control: Monitor and control project workPerform integrated change controlVerify and control project scopeControl project schedulesControl costsPerform Quality ControlReport on team and project performanceMonitor and control risksAttend to all administration and reporting relating to procurementProject Close-out: Close Project or phaseEnsure that all relevant documentation and reports have been disseminatedClose procurementsOff-board project team members and complete close-out Please Note:
