JOB TITLE: Digital and Social Media Marketing Specialist AREA: Pretoria East, Gauteng INDUSTRY: Insurance Salary / CTC: R 500 000 p.a. – R 42 000 per month (depending on current earnings, qualifications and experience) Report to: Head of Marketing and Communications Job Summary: The purpose of the role is to build and enhance our Client's digital and social marketing efforts through the implementation of relevant sales and brand building activities, to drive sales and enhance brand awareness. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing professional enthusiastic about new technologies and digital and social media. You will play an integral role in a new way of thinking when it comes to client and bond consultant marketing. We are looking for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset - someone who always takes ownership and accountability. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and implementing the company's integrated digital and social marketing operational plan to generate sales and to build the client's brand. Responsibilities Effectively develop and implement data-led brand building and leads generation plans based on the marketing strategy. Digital and social media planning aligned to the overall marketing strategy and budget. Develop appropriate and effective content plans, including design and copy. Measure success of campaigns and provide feedback and insights to develop improvements for future projects. Understand and provide insight into digital - and social media behaviour of the target audience. Perform competitor analysis to inform the brand building and sales plan to stay ahead of competitors. Management and briefing of agencies and service providers on the creative requirements. Day-to-day management of social media pages. Day-to-day management of sales campaigns. Considering new and upcoming digital consumer trends to identify innovative ideas and turn them into brand and sales initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve cooperation. Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislative knowledge. Identify opportunities to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency. Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service. Experience and qualifications A relevant BCom Marketing degree from a reputable tertiary institution. Minimum 3 to 5 years' hands-on experience in digital and social media marketing. Experience in Financial Service will be advantageous.
