Job Description: As a Catering Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our catering services align with the nutritional needs and preferences of our clients. You will collaborate closely with our culinary teams to develop menus that are both enticing and health-conscious. Your expertise will guide menu planning, recipe development, and ingredient selection to meet the diverse dietary requirements of our clientele.
Responsibilities:

Personal Assistant: You will work closely with the COO.
Menu Development: Work closely with the culinary team to create menus that cater to different dietary preferences and restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergen-free options.
Nutritional Analysis: Conduct nutritional analysis of recipes to ensure they meet dietary guidelines and nutritional standards. Provide recommendations for adjustments to enhance the nutritional value of dishes while maintaining taste and presentation.
Client Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their dietary needs, preferences, and any specific health concerns. Offer personalized menu recommendations and dietary advice to meet their requirements.
Ingredient Sourcing: Research and recommend high-quality, nutritious ingredients that align with our commitment to providing healthy catering options. Liaise with suppliers to source fresh, seasonal produce and sustainable food products.
Education and Training: Provide education and training to catering staff on topics such as food safety, nutrition, portion control, and special dietary requirements. Ensure staff are knowledgeable and equipped to accommodate diverse dietary needs.
Quality Assurance: Monitor food preparation processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and nutritional guidelines. Conduct regular quality checks to maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field. Registered Dietitian (RD) credential preferred.
Previous experience working as a dietitian in a catering, food service, or hospitality setting is advantageous.
Strong understanding of nutrition principles, dietary guidelines, and food composition.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
Creative culinary skills and a passion for creating healthy, flavorful dishes.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Own vehicle essential.
