A leading provider in the mineral exploration drilling industry requires a Support Equipment Diesel Mechanic with experience on trucks and LDVs to join their team in Mokopane. This critical role involves supporting the Operations team by maintaining and repairing diesel-powered support equipment essential to mining operations.The primary focus is on ensuring the reliability and safety of trucks, LDVs, and other diesel-driven machinery. If you are a dedicated professional with experience in the mining sector and are ready to contribute to a dynamic team, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.Qualifications, Skills, And Experience RequiredEducation: Grade 12 (Matric)Certification: Red Seal - Diesel MechanicExperience: 3-5 years in a mining environment, with specific experience on trucks and LDVsLanguage: Fully bilingual (English or Afrikaans) with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Physical Fitness: Must be fit to obtain a medical certificate of fitness and declared fit to work on a mine.Skills: Competent in diesel mechanics, including the use of all relevant tools and equipment, ensuring safe and effective operations in a mining environment.Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Saturday, with an off-structure of five days at month-end.Location: Candidates must reside in the Mokopane / Mapela / host community area.Additional Qualities: Honest, reliable, with excellent timekeeping and attendance.Preferred Experience: Prior experience working on a mine site.NOTE: We ONLY accept online applications.
