Job Opportunity: Diesel Mechanic (Male)Full job description:We are currently seeking a vibrant and energetic individual to join our team as a Diesel Truck/Trailer Mechanic.Main purpose of this position:To maintain and perform routine maintenance on the company's HDV fleet as well as trailers.To order as required, correct spares or vehicle parts, receive, safely utilize, and complete inspections before releasing to relevant departments.Ensure the fleet meets Company and Legal Requirements through proper maintenance, including completion of all relevant documentation, which must be of the highest standards.Interested candidates must have/meet the following minimum qualifications/traits:Certifiable Trade Test Certificate.Qualified in diesel Motors and mechanical engineering.Must have EXCELLENT knowledge of Trucks and Trailers and possibly in pneumatics.Must have good knowledge of Fleet Maintenance procedures.Must be familiar with working on different brands of trucks.Must be willing to attend breakdowns.Must have own tools.Must have sober habits.Must have at least 5 years minimum experience in a similar position.Competencies:Decision making, communication and leadership skills.Ability to interact well with a diversified team.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure.Qualifying candidates will be contacted and will be subjected to a full screening process.Education:Certificate (Required)Experience:Mechanical: 3 years (Required)How to Apply:If you meet the requirements, please submit your CV to ******:- Only qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview.- We are an equal opportunities employer.Job Type: Full-time
