Candidate requirements:Highly motivated and reliable individualCapable of problem-solving, planning, and excellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrating a proven track record of vehicle fleet management and vehicle maintenance.Recognized qualification as a diesel mechanicMinimum 3 years of experience working on diesel vehiclesExperience in general maintenance of water pumps and other machineryExperience in a supervisory rolePassion for vehiclesAttention to detailProficient in English and AfrikaansComputer literacyKey responsibilities:Maintenance of the reserves fleet of vehicles, including preventative and ad-hoc maintenanceOrdering of parts and ensuring their timely deliveryMaintenance of a neat and organized workshop with an adequate stock of frequently used sparesSupervision and training of workshop staffContribution towards sustainability goals by constantly seeking ways to make vehicle and workshop operations more environmentally friendlyRepairs and maintenance of gate motors and solar and electrical water pumpsEffective financial management of workshop operations through the administration and recording of orders, and stock controlWorking within agreed budgetsRecord-keeping of vehicle service schedules and other related administrative tasksEnsuring quality and care of workshop equipment and products following SOPsOther duties as may be requested by the Reserve ManagerThis property is also looking for a field guide & can consider a couple.Live in
