Diesel Mechanic Commercial Vehicles - Sandton

Remuneration: Basic Salary + overtime negotiable depending on experience + Pension + Company vehicle when on standby
Purpose Of The Job:
Our Client, a leading truck rental company, requires a Qualified Diesel Mechanic, experienced in Commercial Vehicles, to join their Team.
Duties:

Accurately diagnose faults found and reported on a vehicle (trouble shooting).
Carry out servicing and repairs to vehicles in an efficient manner to ensure that the vehicles do not return to the workshop with the same fault.
Conduct servicing according to company's specifications and service sheet.
Ensure workshop quality, safety, and security procedures are always adhered to.
Report any vehicle faults other than those on-the-job cards.
Work accurately and timeously to achieve both efficiency and productivity to the required standards.
Conduct road tests on repaired vehicles as and when needed.

Requirements:

Qualified Diesel Mechanic.
Driver's license.
At least 3 years' experience as a diesel mechanic on commercial vehicles.
Overall truck knowledge is essential with good electrical knowledge.
Able to work under pressure.
Willing to work overtime and do breakdowns.
Computer literate.
