The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and scalable software deployment, maintaining a robust infrastructure, and automating processes to drive development and operational efficiencies. You will work closely with developers, engineers, and product managers to streamline workflows, manage infrastructure as code, and build highly scalable solutions to support our mission.
Key Role & Responsibilities: Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS, Azure, or GCP.Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automating deployment processes and ensuring smooth software releases.Monitoring & Maintenance: Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure systems are secure, available, and performing optimally. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring uptime.Security & Compliance: Ensure systems are compliant with security best practices, implementing security measures across infrastructure and deployments.Collaboration: Work closely with developers, testers, and product teams to understand technical requirements and ensure seamless deployment and operations.Scripting & Automation: Automate repetitive tasks through scripting (Bash, Python, or similar languages) to enhance operational efficiencies.Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and optimize container-based applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.Required Qualifications and Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.A passion for continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or related roles.Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD).Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools.Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).Knowledge of relevant security standards across IT management.IT Asset management - management of company assets.Hardware and software networking.Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Terraform or CloudFormation.Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).Previous experience in an e-commerce or subscription-based company.Benefits: Why Rentoza?
