Development Project Manager (Dpm)

The main function of the Development Project Manager (DPM) is to lead a Software Development team, managing performance, behaviour, productivity, and team delivery by applying the Scrum/ Agile methodology. In this client facing role, the DPM provides feedback, updates, and reports to internal and external clients on the status of projects.
Delivery ManagementDeliver on Time and in scope (Backlog grooming, sprint planning, estimates and Burn down reports)Ensure teams are delivering Velocity at 70% efficiency of Raw Capacity for each sprintDelivering quality by ensuring UAT failures are less than 5% for each UAT deploymentClient and Stakeholder ManagementProvide progress reports and present the status of team(s) deliverables (Sprint Burn Down Reports) in weekly Operations meetingsManage client expectations, respond to client escalations and provide regular updates to clients as per the agreed timeframes.Team ManagementPerformance Management (set individual employee goals and conduct performance evaluations)Manage productivity and monitor time loggingCore Skills/CompetenciesTechnical skills required to do the job Proficient in Microsoft OfficeExperience with task tracking tools, JIRA/ ConfluenceCustomer relationship managementCoding languages and principlesConflict managementQuality ControlPerformance ManagementResource Planning, Project Management and Organizational SkillsProfessional Communication – Oral and WrittenMatricA minimum of 3 years experience leading a teamA minimum of 3 years' experience within a Software Development environmentExperience with Agile, ScrumRetail experience is advantageousA proven track record of successful project deliveryRecruitment ProcessCompetency based interview to assess above requirementsIf you are interested in applying, please email your updated CV to ****** .
