Job Title: Business Development Manager Location: Centurion Remuneration: Market-Related We are a well-established international Defense Industry company, looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to help expand our global footprint and increase market share.
In this role, you will drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales, developing innovative products and solutions, and building strong client relationships.
You will lead in developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to capture new business opportunities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Aeronautical, Industrial) or BCom DegreesBEng or BSc degree onlyKey Responsibilities: Promote the company's products/services by addressing or predicting clients' needsCreate sales contracts, ensuring compliance with legal rules and guidelinesDevelop goals for business growth and ensure they are metMaintain records of sales, revenue, invoices, and travel itinerariesProvide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to clientsDevelop a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfactionResearch and identify new markets and customer needsBuild networks and arrange meetings with potential clients (domestic and international)Improve sales strategies and plan new marketing initiativesAttend relevant conferences, meetings, and industry-related eventsAdditional Information: Industry experience in defense, aerospace, or security (highly advantageous)Willingness to travel internationally (must have a valid passport)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsImmediate availability (advantageous)Must be well-presented at all timesAdequate IT efficiencyOwn reliable transport
