ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.Resolve all customer queries efficiently and within agreed timelines.Provision of an efficient administration service through careful and timely planning, reporting, and updating of all related information.Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.Work closely with the team/allocated individual to upskill knowledge and skills in Operations and Administration.Manage own development to increase own competencies.Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost-effectiveness.Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff members.Produce program specifications and implement system enhancements.Code, compile, test, and implement applications in compliance with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Comply, understand, and implement all steps within IT development and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements during programming execution.Assess, identify, and mitigate potential risks within the IT programming environment.Produce technical specifications and architecture in accordance with agreed standards.Minimize system downtime through proactive identification of potential issues.Monitor systems post-change and proactively perform performance analysis.Maintain maximum system availability by ensuring that incidents are recorded for future reference.Proactively engage with business units and colleagues to understand underlying needs and opportunities.Supervise the work of other developers and provide technical assistance.Additional RequirementsMinimum: B.Comm, B.Eng, BSC Eng, BSC Informatics, or related degree.4 – 6 years' experience in programming (Java).Familiar with one or more programming languages as appropriate for the specific requirements of the department.System Design experience advantageous.We can be a match if you are:Curious & courageous - you're driven by always wanting to know more and learn more.Obsessed with mastery - you know what it takes to become good at what you do and are constantly pushing yourself to do it.Job DetailsTake note that applications will not be accepted on the below date and onwards, kindly submit applications ahead of the closing date indicated below.
