Leading Destination Management Company is seeking Intermediate to Senior Destination Specialists to successfully quote profitable tour products for existing as well as new clients.
This position is based in Cape Town and is a hybrid role.
Experience required: MatricRelevant tertiary qualifications (advantageous)Min of 4 years of Destination Management Company ExperienceTourplan experienceForeign language speaking advantageous.Duties include: Secure business and effectively cost productsQuote and design successful creative itineraries and proposalsCapture and confirm bookings in TourplanNegotiate with suppliers for better rates, cancellation policiesSuccessfully run groups, tour series, and FIT bookingsParticipate in supplier training and workshopsReduce the transaction turnaround timeDemonstrate good communication skills and customer careStay current on events and changes of suppliers and productsTravel on educationals and familiarisation tripsHandling the 24hour emergency phone.
