The role includes coordinating with various internal teams, managing transport/shipping documentation, and optimising the efficiency of despatch operations.
There will be fantastic progression opportunities within Ace Express Freight for the right candidate, so if you are ready to take on a challenging new role that will help you achieve your personal and professional goals, please apply today!Duties And ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the daily despatch operations, ensuring all orders are shipped on time and in full.Prepare and process shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and labels.Liaise with production, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication and operations.Schedule and monitor shipments with carriers, negotiating rates where applicable.Maintain accurate records of all despatch activities, including tracking numbers, shipment dates, and delivery confirmations.Manage and resolve any issues related to delayed or damaged shipments.Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the production team to prioritise despatch based on stock availability.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations related to despatch and shipping.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the despatch process and reduce costs.Person SpecificationProven experience in a despatch or logistics coordination role within a manufacturing environment.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficient in using shipping and inventory management software.Knowledge of transportation regulations and shipping documentation.Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling challenges.What We OfferPermanent contract.Attractive Salary + Staff benefits.22 days annual leave.Company Pension.Excellent promotional opportunities.Positive working environment with a vibrant atmosphere.If you want to be part of the amazing ACE team and hold the required skillset & experience, we are searching for then please apply today!
