Apply now!Responsibilities:Design and develop moulds for the manufacturing of rigid plastic productsOversee projects from initial concept through to industrializationCreate component designs based on project briefs, advising on material selection and functionalityManage mould trials and provide detailed instructions and support to trial staffAssist in sourcing mould components and materialsWork closely with toolmakers throughout the entire mould manufacturing processMaintain and update the mould and drawing database regularlyTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to components and mouldsLead or support technical projects aimed at improving toolroom processes and production efficiencyInitiate and actively participate in various projects to enhance operational performanceSkills & Experience:Proven experience in mould design, particularly within a Toolroom environmentProficiency in using SolidWorks for design and modellingIn-depth knowledge of both blow moulding and injection moulding processesOnly South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.Contact CHANE DIPPENAAR on 021418 1750, quoting the Ref: CTE026082.
