A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your application EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent SECTOR : Manufacturing BASIC SALARY : R35 000.00 Benefits START DATE : A.S.A.P / Immediate REQUIREMENTS: Matric Relevant qualification in Design Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Experience in mould design within a Toolroom environment Strong understanding of both blow moulding and injection moulding processes Well-developed leadership and junior management skills Strong communication skills DUTIES: Design and develop moulds for rigid plastic product manufacturing. Manage complete projects from concept to industrialization. Design components as per briefs and advise on material choice and functionality. Manage mould trials and provide all relevant information to trial staff. Participate in sourcing mould components. Collaborate closely with toolmakers during all phases of mould manufacturing. Maintain and update the mould/drawing database. Troubleshoot component and mould issues. Manage various technical projects related to toolroom and production improvements. Initiate or participate in projects. HOURS: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 17:00 Friday: 8:00 - 15:45
