Are you a Driven and Creative DESIGNER with a few years of Lingerie CAD experience and previous dealings with China suppliers as well as buyers across different retailers?Are you the type of individual who is not afraid of a challenge, willing to put in the hard work required (quick to meet deadlines, attention to detail & accuracy), and looking for an awesome opportunity for growth?We are looking for the right Designer to hit the ground running with the team at a Fast-Paced multinational business that is involved in developing, sourcing, and managing the production and supply of made-to-order and branded apparel.Role Responsibilities:Trend research for merchandisers buying tripPhotographing & numbering of overseas samples onto swiftTrend presentation preparation & presenting to customer, assisting the merchandiserBuyers briefing with the merchandiserNew developmentsPrepare & send all swatches, samples, and all reference needed for factory to execute the style in briefingCreate & load buyer briefs onto swiftBrief the factories over emailBrief additional packaging and information pertaining to each styleUpdating packaging booklets every seasonSend a copy of the original brief with original sample (if needed) along with colour swatches for lab dipping to supplierWeekly CAD overview updates by style/program/customerChecking of factory samples & lab dips against the brief (Merchandiser to be shown)Communication between customer & supplier on design/brief/colour/artworkReturning & monitoring of overseas samples not used by customersFiling of overseas samples/showing samples/meeting samplesPrepare copies of updated customer CAD overviews for each customer to accompany customer production delivery reports (from Coordinator), each copy spiral bound together with header pageRails cleaned at the end of every season (ie: fit samples, duplicate samples, old rail samples - team effort)Everyone is responsible for keeping their area tidy at all timesCAD overview to be emailed to factories confirming they have received all the briefsMinimum Requirements:At least 2-3 years working experience as a Designer within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentMust have experience working with CAD, Illustrator & BridgeMust have previous experience dealing with ChinaMust have previous experience with buyers across different retailersOwn vehicle would be beneficialMUST have the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentMUST have the drive & commitment to ensure deadlines are met
