Experienced Assistant and Store Managers required for a large Foods retailer.
Main purpose is to provide customers with a world-class shopping experience which makes them feel special by delivering exceptional store standards, managing an efficient store, ensuring colleagues feel proud and valued.
Successful Candidates Will Be Accountable To Ensure:The store operations are legal and safe.All customers receive great service that keeps them returning to the store.We remain competitive on price.We work hard to keep our colleagues happy and motivated, investing in them and involving them in our plans, so our colleagues continue to deliver excellent customer service.Grow sales and achieve weekly sales budgets, grow customer count and basket size.Ensure efficiencies and salaries, waste, and shrink are managed as per budget.People management and development as well as personal development.Adhere to all legislation and Company policies and procedures.Minimum Requirements:Grade 12.Retail Management diploma would be advantageous.At least 5 - 6 years working experience as a Store Manager in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods Retail/Warehouse Environment.Available and flexible to work different shifts across trading and non-trading hours.Essential Competence:Entrepreneurial.Passion for food and knowledge of Fruit & Veg.Attention to detail.Numeric skills & a general understanding of basic financial management.Proven problem-solving skills and requires minimal supervision.Strong communication skills (across all levels internal and external).Ability to deliver according to strict deadlines.Computer literate.Application to: [Email Address Removed].
