DescriptionA new and exciting opportunity available for a creative, enthusiastic, and driven Design Studio Manager to join the current team of this rapidly growing division. A dedicated Design Studio Manager to oversee the production operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that the pre-production processes run reliably and efficiently. You must be a pre-production whiz dedicated to boosting productivity and managing critical path. A fast-paced environment and a knack for leading high-performing teams. Knowledge of garment construction essential. ResponsibilitiesOversee Merchandisers, Patternmakers & Graders.Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectations.Manage workflow of Pre-production team.Manage costing process.Be responsible for pre-production output, product quality, and on-time handover to our factory.Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets.Be able to work with cross-functional departments related to production to make sure deadlines are met.Promotes the adherence of the product calendar by ensuring the efficient collaboration and co-ordination between cross-functional partners, including Design, R&D, Merchandising, and Materials.Research new sources of manufacturing and industry best practices to ensure continual process improvement and long-term vision.RequirementsQualifications: Degree or Diploma in Clothing Management.
Experience: 5 – 8 years proven experience as a Pre-Production Manager in the manufacturing sector.
