ResponsibilitiesSupport customer interface for program assumption/technical issues.Evaluate and manage design changes.Analyse production drawing and prepare product specifications for implementation into production.Prepare implementation of new models, face-lifts & ECI projects from concept phase to production start.Investigate localization; VAVE and standardisation.Conduct design reviews with the Design Team.Investigate new components.Support engineering data processing (i.e.
2D drawing) for new business; facelift; engineering change instructions or request for quotes.Minimum RequirementsNational Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering (Essential).B.
Tech in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering (Advantageous).Project Management Diploma (Advantageous).3 to 5 years product development experience in the automotive environment (Essential).2 years' experience in an automotive industry (Desirable).1 year experience in a wiring harness environment (Desirable).Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
