Design Engineer (Municipal Infrastructure) (POS24274)Cape Town CBDR 1,5 mil to R 1,7mil per annumJob Purpose:The purpose of the job is to produce technical deliverables on of large scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.Specific focus on civil Infrastructure design using Civil Designer and/or Civil 3D is a requirement.To carry out the planning, design, site supervision and construction monitoring for both internal and external civil municipal infrastructure (water, and sewer, roads and stormwater including stormwater management plan) for existing and new developments for both Private and Public Sector Clients.
Compilation of Tender Documentation including Conditions of Contract, Specifications, Bills of Quantities and Tender Drawings.Requirements:Applicable bachelor's for BTech degree.Registration with ECSA as a PR Eng.5 or more years' experience with specific Municipal Infrastructure Design experience a pre-requisite.Key Performance Areas:Design & documentation of municipal servicesCan work independently on project technical deliverablesExperience in both greenfield and brownfield projectsExperience with GCC2015, SABS1200 & COLTOGood communication and people skillsPreparation of reports and presentationsCompetent with Civil Designer, Civil3D and AutoCADPlan, organize and control specific technical tasksEnsure adherence to the Quality Management SystemKeep abreast of Technical best practice
