Design Engineer - Manufacturing & Assembly

Manufacturing Company who is setting international benchmarks in the automotive/aerospace industry is looking for a Manufacturing and Assembly Design Engineer to join the team.
Design projects includes designing & detailing various elements, parts, and components e.g.
:  Joinery components, including design for assembly and installation design thereof.
Furthermore, manufacturing process design, tooling design, jig design, weight, and cost optimisation, and BOM creation. Requirements:Engineering Degree/Diploma (Mechanical or relevant Designing field)Thorough understanding of tooling designThorough understanding of design for manufacturingWorking knowledge of SolidWorks is non-negotiableKnowledge of AutoCADProficient in ExcelPractical understanding and experience of Joinery constructionMust reside in Cape Town
