Design Engineer

Job Title: Design Engineer Location: Limpopo, Waterberg District, Lephalale
Job Type: 6 month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Job Duties: Create detailed design drawings and specifications for engineering projectsCollaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet requirementsConduct research to gather information on project requirements and constraintsUse computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop designsPerform calculations and analysis to validate design choicesPrepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholdersReview and modify designs based on feedback and testing resultsEnsure designs adhere to industry standards and regulationsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Chemical EngineeringPrEng with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)Proven experience working as a Design EngineerProficiency in CAD softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesExperience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in design engineering in large-scale industrial projects, particularly in power generation, chemical processing, or environmental engineering.Demonstrated experience in conceptual design, detailed engineering design, and project execution.Previous experience in designing and executing Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems or similar complex process systems is preferred.Must have prior assignments as a Lead Design Engineer in complex, multidisciplinary projects.Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in CAD softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities
