Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the design of major roads and roadway infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for ACSA, SANRAL, and Provincial Roads projects.Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective integration of design and construction phases.Conduct site evaluations, risk assessments, and quality control to ensure design integrity.Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from design to execution.Requirements:Beng/ Btech or equivalent qualifications.Minimum 5 years post-registration as a PrTech Eng or PrEng.Proven experience as a Design Engineer on major roads/roadway projects, specifically for ACSA, SANRAL, or Provincial Roads.Involvement in the design of at least 5 major roads projects.Strong technical knowledge and expertise in road design software and engineering principles.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and effectively manage design deliverables.
