Design Civil Engineer

Our client has an amazing opportunity for a Design Civil Engineer based in Paarl, Western Cape Industry: Civil Engineering Level: mid - Senior Key Requirements: BSc/BEng or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering. Engineer registered with ECSA as a Candidate/Pr 5 years experience in land infrastructure design, specifically in municipal services. Proficient in CAD & Civil 3D; experience with PCSWMM is advantageous. Solid background in public and private sector land infrastructure, from township to site-specific scales. Advanced computer skills with a working knowledge of CAD Software. Ability to develop specifications, BoQs, cost estimates, and prepare final tender documentation. Experience in preparing reports, implementing codes of practice, and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures and SANS 1200 requirements. Personal Attributes: Ability to work effectively in a team, support project leadership, and also take the lead on project designs. Strong work-winning and client-facing capabilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with personnel at all organizational levels.
